Summer break may be here, but we're still celebrating some unforgettable moments from this school year!

In late May, the Tokay High School FFA community came together to celebrate 50 years of Tokay FFA. Swipe through for a look back at this special anniversary celebration filled with livestock animals, raffle prizes, food trucks, classroom tours, and more.

Our GATE Enrichment Camp students have been spending their summer rocking out! 🎶🎸

Students from across the district have been getting ready for their "School of Rock" showcase by creating their own instruments, writing original songs, designing album covers, and even making their own band t-shirts. After weeks of creativity and collaboration, they wrapped up camp by performing and sharing their projects with friends and family.

Of course, the GATE teachers had to join in on the fun too. Swipe to the last photo to see them in action! 🤘

There's a new school in our future! Last Friday, we celebrated the groundbreaking of the new Samuel M. Gantner Elementary School in Lodi. The campus is named after Samuel M. Gantner, the first Lodi resident to have lost their life during World War II.

Right now, Gantner Elementary is scheduled to welcome its first students for the 2028-29 school year! We can't wait to watch this project come to life and share construction updates with you along the way.

Before their official graduation day, the Lodi High School Multiciltural Club came together to celebrate their Class of 2026 with their very own multicultural graduation ceremony on campus.

It was a special event full of culture, community and proud families as the students celebrated everything they’ve accomplished before crossing the stage.

As we celebrate the end of the school year, our graduates aren’t the only ones starting a new adventure! Before the school year ended, we also celebrated the many staff members retiring from Lodi Unified School District. These staff members have dedicated years of service to our students, schools, and families, and while we’re excited for their next chapter, they will be missed! We are grateful for the time they spent making an impact throughout our district.

The Lodi USD Nutrition Services Department hosted their annual Summer Meals Kick Off event earlier today and it was a total success! Families filled Hutchins Street Square Park for delicious food, fun games and activities, music, and overall family-friendly fun!

The summer meals distribution starts tomorrow with the Grab n' Go service at the Lockeford Community Center in Lockeford. You can still RSVP at bit.ly/grabngosummermeals2026 and check out our last slides for the complete list of locations providing free summer meals for all children ages 2-18.

We've celebrated our high school grads, but they're not the only ones moving up! 🎉

Congratulations to our preschool, kindergarten, sixth grade, and eighth grade graduates. We loved celebrating these big milestones with you!
