We ended the summer with Carnival Week. First the kids all made homemade carnival games. They all did such a great job and we're very creative!! Then they all played each other's games and gave out prizes! Then for our end of the year party, we had a carnival lunch along with other carnival games that the kids put on for each other. and we also brought up the little kids from downstairs to play the carnival games. It was a fun week to end the summer!

This week was "Outdoor Art Week". We had so much fun painting with Popsicles (we had to do this one indoors due to the hot weather that day), finding objects in nature and creating spray paint art with them, making homemade giant bubbles out of cups and straws and homemade bubble solution. We also made paint brushes out of nature with sticks and leaves, then we water-painted the playground. We also made beautiful wind chimes that the kids can take home and hang outside!

The kiddos really enjoyed our Lego theme last week! We played Lego charades where they had to build the object on the card they picked and the kids had to guess what it was! We had lego car building contests and races, and we even made zip lines with the Legos, the children were very creative making these!
