Rock, Paper, Scissors…Government Edition! 🏛️🌎

7th grade Social Studies students learned about different types of government through four rounds of Rock, Paper, Scissors, each with a different set of rules representing how power, freedom, and decision-making can change under different forms of government.

Students collaborated with classmates, questioned why each round worked the way it did, and connected their experience to what they’re learning about government.

A little competition + a lot of learning = a fun way to make Social Studies come to life! 📚

🏈💚 FOOTBALL IS BACK IN C**T COUNTRY! 💚🏈

Our C**ts kicked off the season by hosting a football jamboree, and it did NOT disappoint! 🙌 Great plays, great competition, and a whole lot of fun under the Saturday night lights!

We loved seeing our C**ts back on the field and our community cheering them on! 🐴🏈

🔬 Science in Action! 🌟
This week, our 7th grade scientists put their observation and measurement skills to the test!

Students made qualitative observations of different chips and used their scientific detective skills to identify which chip belonged to a group member—all without relying on labels! 🥔🔎

To wrap up the week, students practiced using the metric system and worked with a variety of measurement tools to make accurate measurements. 📏⚖️

From careful observations to hands-on measuring, our students were thinking like scientists, learning by doing, and having lots of fun along the way! 🧑‍🔬👩‍🔬
