Our Lower School came together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! 💙
Led by our Fifth-Grade presenters, the assembly allowed students to share their Hispanic heritage through personal stories, family histories, and cultural traditions. From honoring the journeys of parents and grandparents to celebrating the customs passed down through generations, our students shared what makes their heritage meaningful to them.

The assembly was a meaningful celebration of the diverse backgrounds that enrich our Lower School community and an opportunity for students to learn more about the cultures, traditions, and experiences of their classmates.

Celebrating excellence, achievement, and the lasting legacy of Portledge Athletics. 💙
The Portledge Athletic Hall of Fame Induction brought our community together to honor Tom Hornosky ’76, Seth Gottesman ’86, Ashley Wade ’11, Tom Parisi ’11, and Jahmir Primer ’21 for their accomplishments and contributions to Portledge Athletics.

It was a special evening welcoming alumni back to campus, reconnecting across generations, and celebrating the athletes who have helped shape the history of the Panthers.

Our Sixth Graders took learning beyond the classroom at Fahnestock State Park! 🌲
Through outdoor challenges, team-building activities, and time spent exploring together, students strengthened friendships, built confidence, and connected as a class.

Our Lower School Getting to Know You Assembly was about more than starting a new school year. It was about making sure every student feels known from the start. 💙

Hosted by our fifth graders, the assembly brought students together to talk about expectations for the year and what it means to be part of the Portledge community.

Each new student was introduced by name and welcomed by their Lower School peers, giving our community the chance to get to know the newest faces at Portledge. Because at Portledge, being known inspires growth.

Panther pride was on full display at this year’s Pep Rally! 💙🐾
Students across divisions packed the Chen Center to celebrate our fall athletics teams and come together ahead of Founders Day. From team introductions to Blue & White competition, it was an afternoon filled with school spirit, friendly competition, and plenty of cheering from the stands! 💙🤍
