🍊 A sweet treat for our Middle School teachers!

Recently, our P3 Team (Parents Partnering with Patriots) and Middle School parents treated our MS teachers to an “Orange You Glad It’s Friday” Snack Cart!

Our teachers loved the special treat, and we’re so grateful for the many ways our families show appreciation and encouragement for those who pour into our students each day. Thank you, P3 and our parents, for loving our teachers so well! 🧡

Julie Davis is bringing chemistry to life for her high-school students! As they explore the periodic table, students are discovering why radium is dangerously radioactive while calcium is essential for life—even though these elements are chemically similar.

With glowsticks glowing and the lights turned down, Mrs. Davis led students through an eye-opening discussion of the Radium Girls. These young women were told the luminous paint they used was harmless, yet they unknowingly swallowed dangerous amounts of radioactive material while working.

Their story sparked a deeper conversation about truth, trust, and the importance of questioning what we are told.

As students connect science, history, and Scripture, they are reminded that while people can fail us, God is the one we can always trust.

Our middle school students are putting creativity and technology to work!

In Mrs. Amanda Hale’s technology class, students recently completed a mock branding and design project for the Fundae Sundaes Company. They put their skills into practice by creating professional business cards, letterhead, and custom envelopes, gaining hands-on experience with branding, design, and real-world applications along the way.

And what better way to wrap up a project for the Fundae Sundaes Company than with a sundae celebration? 🍦 Mrs. Hale transformed the classroom into an ice-cream parlor, complete with an ice-cream bar and plenty of toppings!

What a beautiful morning celebrating some very special people! ❤️

We are so thankful for the grandparents who pour so much love, wisdom, faith, and encouragement into the lives of their grandchildren. Today was filled with smiles, laughter, sweet hugs, memories made, and a beautiful reminder of the legacy being passed from one generation to the next.

Grandparents, thank you for spending the morning with us and for the countless ways you love and support our Patriots. Your impact reaches far beyond today, and we are so grateful you are part of the Strong Rock family. ❤️💙

Celebrating our talented 1st Grade artists! 🎨

We are so proud of the 12 art students from Amanda Boutelle’s class whose artwork was selected for display at Locust Grove City Hall!

Our young artists studied and drew inspiration from renowned artist Alma Thomas, known for her vibrant, richly patterned abstract paintings. They explored color and pattern to create their own beautiful works of art.

Congratulations to these talented young artists! We love seeing their creativity shine!

Next month, Strong Rock’s state champion shooting team will return to Savannah to defend their title! These Patriots continue to shine both on and off the range, demonstrating the dedication, discipline, teamwork, and commitment to fi***rm safety that make us so proud.

We’re proud to celebrate a sport that teaches responsibility, focus, and respect while challenging our student-athletes to pursue excellence.

Let’s cheer on our Patriots as they take aim at another state championship! ❤️💙

STEM just got a little sweeter in first grade! 🍎

Our first graders turned their classrooms into “apple stations” and had a blast learning through hands-on exploration!

They discovered the science behind why apples float.
They weighed their apples.
They built miniature apple trees and experimented with different structures to see which could hold the most apples.
And, of course, they enjoyed the BEST station of all—the apple tasting station!

From fresh apples and apple juice to Apple Jacks and even homemade applesauce, our students used their senses, made observations, and had so much fun learning! Who knew STEM could be this delicious?!

This past weekend, Mrs. Mandy Colwell officially received her 2026 Christian Teacher of the Year Award from the Herzog Foundation during the Excellence in Christian Education Awards ceremony in Kansas City, Missouri.

Mrs. Colwell was one of just 12 educators from across the country selected for this national honor recognizing excellence in Christ-centered education.

We are incredibly proud of the way Mrs. Colwell invests in her students, challenges them to think critically, and points them to biblical truth each day.

Congratulations, Mrs. Colwell! We are grateful to have you at Strong Rock!
