Homeschool Haven is considering starting a social skills and friendship-building group for homeschooled neurodivergent tweens and teens.

The goal would be a supportive, low-pressure environment where students can connect with peers, build confidence, and practice social skills through fun, structured activities.

If this is something your family might be interested in, please comment below or send us a message with your child's age and what you'd hope to see in a group like this.

Volunteer Opportunity at Homeschool Haven

We're looking for a consistent classroom helper to join our Monday afternoon program this fall!

Our classes are intentionally kept small so we can provide a supportive, hands-on learning environment with plenty of individual attention. As our program grows, we'd love to add a dedicated volunteer who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of our community.

What the role includes:
• Assisting during lessons, activities, and transitions
• Helping maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment
• Serving as an extra set of hands for art, science, and group activities
• Commitment to attending our weekly Monday afternoon sessions

As a thank-you, the volunteer's child may attend tuition-free.
Adding a classroom helper will allow us to maintain our low student-to-teacher ratio and potentially open additional spots for families interested in joining Haven.
