As an American Heart Association Training Site, we offer CPR, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and instructor courses.

Our Advanced EMT students have been busy with patient assessment, airway management, pharmacology, and, of course, skills!

We also had a special guest: Dr. Williams stopped by to introduce himself, share some advice, and talk through differential diagnoses with the class during review. We appreciate him taking the time to invest in our students.

Struggling to pass the NREMT at the EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic level?

Registration is now open for our October NREMT Preparation & Remedial Course in Homewood, Alabama.

Whether you’ve tested before and haven’t gotten the result you wanted, or you simply have anxiety about taking the NREMT, this course is designed to help you feel more prepared and confident going into exam day.

Online coursework begins October 1st and continues throughout the month. Students will also attend three 8-hour days of in-person instruction on October 7th, 15th, and 23rd.

We focus on the areas students struggle with most, break down how NREMT questions are written, review high-yield content, and work through test-taking strategies that can make a difference on your next attempt.

For candidates who have been unsuccessful after three NREMT attempts, Total EMS Solutions can also issue the required remedial education certificate upon successful completion of the course requirements.

We’ve been busy over the last couple of weeks at Total EMS Solutions.

Last week, our Training Faculty hosted multiple courses across the area, including a BLS Instructor Course in Shelby County, ACLS and PALS Instructor Courses in Locust Fork, and multiple Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid classes.

Then on Monday, Pierson and Austin officially kicked off our Advanced EMT course!

We’re thankful for our Training Faculty who continue to represent Total EMS Solutions so well, and for the departments, agencies, and partners who trust us to help provide quality EMS and healthcare education.

And today, we’re back at it for Day #2 of our September National Registry Prep!

After months of planning and anticipation, we are excited to officially announce the launch of Total EMS Academy!

Today, Total EMS Solutions kicked off our Advanced EMT course, hosted in partnership with Center Point Fire District. Students representing Center Point Fire District, Palmerdale Fire District, Warrior Fire Department, and Friendship Fire Department began their journey toward advancing their emergency medical knowledge, skills, and capabilities.

We are grateful to each department for investing in its providers and trusting Total EMS Solutions to be part of their professional development. We look forward to watching these students grow throughout the program and take the next step in serving their communities.
