Niagara Region brought creativity and fun to our Summer Leadership Training by turning our traditional presentation into a Jeopardy-style trivia game. We divided the group into 4 teams, had them choose names, and gave them buzzers with different colors and sounds. As soon as we asked the first question, the competition was on. We didn't have to worry about people being bored - instead we needed a referee to confirm who buzzed in first! Thanks to Patty Frazier, NYS PTA President for being our head official. There was a lot of laughing and friendly banter as PTA leaders learned tips, got familiar with their bylaws, and connected with each other. Thanks to Stephanie Phillips from Roy-Hart Elementary PTA and Lindsey Caturia and Erika O'Brien from George Southard Elementary School PTA for sharing highlights about their PARP programs at our Summer Leadership Training! They sparked a conversation where PTAs traded ideas and inspired units to bring PARP to their schools.
