The Memorial Day Observances will commence starting at 8:15, with departure from VFW Post 2535 on Caledonia Street.
As in the past, all participants must keep a close and safe distance between automobiles with their headlights on, and flashers going, to warn pedestrians and oncoming vehicle that a procession is ongoing.
We will be escorted by the City of Lockport Police Department, and may an occasion may be traveling through stop signs and red lights. 🛑 🚦 Do not stop at traffic controlled devices, which would break up the caravan. However, safety always comes first.

Sindee Mumau Garlock. 12/14/1959-12/14/2025 Sindee was the beloved wife of David Garlock, they shared an amazing 30 years together before the Lord called her home.
She is survived by her son Captain Nicholas Garlock, US Army and her daughter Julie (Stephen) Geng and grandchildren Finn and Hadley Geng. Also many great friends from Florida to Lockport. She is the daughter of the late. William and Carol (Hoeh) Mumau. She was raised in Rapids NY along with her siblings the late William Mumau, Deborah (Samuel Alan) Townsend, Karen (late William) Morgan, Murray (Charlene) Mumau, Jeffery Mumau, late Regina (Daniel) Glaser, late Mine’ (Michael) Cummings.
She worked in the hotel and long term care industry for over 40 years. Retiring from Briody Health Care (Lockport Rehab) after 25 years as the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry. She enjoyed crafting, woodworking, sewing, camping, and boating. She also enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and Bandits games, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an active 25-years member of the American Legion Auxiliary B.Leo Dolan Unit # 410 holding many offices most recently President.
