I was honored to be the keynote speaker at the Texas Office of the Attorney General’s yearly conference today.

Basic and advanced techniques for clearing a failure to fire malfunction.

Last week at Shot Fair in Brazil, I was able to try an armored fight thanks to the Espada De Prata, a Brazilian competition team that has won numerous international events.

Because of the environment and safety, no grappling was allowed. The armor changes your center of gravity significantly, the weapons were blunt, and also due to safety no thrusts were allowed.

This was a fantastic experience, and I was very impressed with their athleticism, and grateful for their friendliness and hospitality. I’m hoping I get to do this again next year…
