Inaka Jiujitsu hosted a Pekiti Tirsia Kali seminar with Grand Tuhon Jared Wihongi this weekend. It was a great training opportunity showcasing both the breadth and depth of the art of Kali.

I have to admit I’m pretty excited about this. If you’ve ever taken my Pistol Skill Development class you’ve shot the “Thresholds” drill. It’s been turned into a stage in the system. No ammo, barricades, or setup required, and more complexity than the basic drill.
