Summer sunshine, sweet treats, and no homework are almost here!

Each year, TAFE proudly hosts our annual non-perishable food drive to support students and families of Lockhart High School during the summer months when food insecurity can become more challenging.
Through the generosity of our Lion Pride community, we are able to help stock shelves and provide support to those in need. This project is more than collecting food — it’s about showing compassion, serving others, and reminding our students and families that they are never alone in our pride.
Together, we continue to make a difference one donation at a time.

The BLOOM CHALLENGE represents the growth of leadership in every TAFE member at Lockhart High School! The purpose of this challenge is to highlight LEADERSHIP - Just like a garden, it takes patience, care, and heart to grow!

As we conclude our TAFE Award Ceremony, “Blooming in the Garden of Education,” we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us tonight. Your support, encouragement, and belief in future educators means more than words can express.
Tonight was a beautiful reminder that when passion, leadership, and dedication are planted, amazing things grow. Thank you for helping our students continue to bloom and for celebrating the hard work, achievements, and bright futures ahead for Lockhart TAFE!

Our TAFE end-of-year trip to Main Event was right up our alley!
From striking it big on the bowling lanes to glowing all out during glow-in-the-dark mini golf, students had a laser-focused blast celebrating an amazing year together.
The arcade games kept everyone on their toes, while laser tag brought out some friendly competition that was truly game-changing.
Of course, no “main event” would be complete without pizza, soda, and lots of laughs shared with friends and teammates. It was the perfect way to spare some time for fun, roll into summer, and level up our memories together!

As we wrap up Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to give a special spotlight to the amazing teachers who supported TAFE this year by judging events, chaperoning trips, and always showing up for our students. Your time, encouragement, and dedication helped create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for our members.
