Host families for exchange students are just like you! They are busy, they can be loud sometimes, they argue sometimes, the house is messy sometimes, but when it comes down to it, what is most important is that they love each other and have room to love others. Host families aren't superhuman or special, just willing to try something new. You will forever have a son or daughter in another country. It's an experience you'll never forget! And you are making a student's dream come true! What more could you ask for?

Start 2024 out with a bang! Change your family dynamic by adding a new member. This is the perfect way to experience the world, without having to leave the comforts of your home (and a heck of a lot cheaper too)! Exchange students have their own insurance and monthly allowance to pay for their own cell phone bill, specialty foods, toiletries, entertainment, school supplies, graduation supplies, and any other extra things they want! All we ask of a host family is to provide a spare bed (bedroom can be shared), some transportation for after school activities, and meals while the student is at home.
I have hosted so many students from different countries and I always pick a student who enjoys cooking and baking!!

Margherita is from Ancona Italy and would like to do something in the science field in her future. She will be in the 12th grade during her 2023-2024 exchange program. www.chinet.org
She likes sports but particularly likes volleyball and also chess as well as swimming.
