LHU TRIO Student Support Services Scholars Program Student Support Services (SSS) is a federal TRIO program funded to serve first-generation college students & students who meet other eligibility guidelines.

September 11, 2001 We Remember 🇺🇸
Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families and communities forever changed, and the countless acts of courage and compassion that followed September 11.
We honor the first responders, service members, volunteers, and ordinary people who stepped forward to help others during one of the darkest moments in our nation’s history.
Twenty-five years later, we remember not only the tragedy, but the strength, unity, and hope that carried so many forward.
We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

Last week was full of adventures, presentations, discussions, and SO many memories! TRIO BFF Week 2026 was definitely one to remember! From amazing speakers and campus tours to golf cart selfies, Hershey Park, Mentor and Mentee bonding, and so much more, we had an incredible week! A HUGE thank you to Lia Killoran, Natalie Lombardi, and Mackenzie Bowers for all of your hard work in making this week possible! We appreciate everything you do! Cheers to a new semester, new adventures, and our amazing new students!

Over the past few days, our TRIO Mentors participated in preparation and training to get ready to welcome our new Mentees! They learned about leadership, communication, professionalism, and so much more while hearing from presenters like Tim Bowers and Rebecca Baker. Mentors also enjoyed some team bonding at Liberty Arena with blindfolded laser tag, bowling, and arcade games! It was a great few days, and our Mentors are ready to welcome our new Mentees! We can’t wait to meet everyone on Sunday!! 💙
