Recent public health education graduate recognized at the campus Lavender Graduation Ceremony in May. Heading off for an MPH at Florida International University.

Public Health Program held a campus rally to help public and students understand importance of maintaining and expanding public health education and other efforts in light of cutbacks on the federal level. Event at campus Amphitheater featured representatives from AFSCME, Northcentral Area Health Education Center, AIDS Resource, Stevenson Library, departmental faculty and a recent graduate. In addition, Tiny's Bar-b-que provided free hot dogs for everyone. Legislative Assistants from two nearby Legislative offices also provided comments especially around issues of rural hospitals. Great advocacy effort!
