Woodward Elementary PTO The purpose of our PTO organization is to aid the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs.

The PTO uses its resources, both manpower and monetary, to support all the efforts of the staff of our school. We are looking forward to meeting families, parents, and grandparents that would like to get involved with our PTO. We encourage you to not only join our organization, but get involved as well! Everything we do is based on volunteers and we are always looking for those of you to help make

a difference in the lives of our children. Every positive imprint we make on our children can go a long way. If you are able to give some time, please join us! Besides holding fundraisers, PTO also organizes a teacher appreciation luncheon, invites Santa for a special visit at Christmas, gives a free book to each student at spring Book Fair, pays for field trips for each class, and much more! We will need as many volunteers as possible, and are flexible enough to work around your schedule. Our group meets every second Thursday of the month at 6:30pm to discuss events, plan fundraisers, and share ideas. This is a wonderful way to find out what is happening at our school from the PTO's perspective. PTO believes that it is the ultimate importance that we do everything we can to enhance the learning environment of our children as they truly are our future. It will take all of us working together to ensure that this happens. We look forward to getting to know you!

You will collect contact info from families interested in joining PTO, share volunteer forms and tell everyone about all of the super fun things our PTO does for our students and staff!

On Monday, August 24th , we invite students and families to come by Woodward Elementary and fill our sidewalks with positive words and colorful pictures to welcome students and staffulty back to school for the 2026-2027 school year! We will have sidewalk chalk available, but feel free to bring your own if you like.
Staffulty will be working hard during the day on the 24th getting ready for the start of the school year, but all students and families are welcome to come into the building from 5 - 8 p.m. for an open house!
