Throwback to our 4th week of our summer program. The menu for the week was spanish cuisine. Our students were celebrated at a dance reception after participating in their dance fitness workshops with Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County Very grateful to our staff, students & their families, & our partners who helped make our summer program a success!

Highlights of our summer program week 3. July is flying by, can't believe we are almost done! This week's menu was American week. Our students completed the Catch My Breath program with Sullivan 180. Our SYEP interns continued their work duties helping Student Activities office get ready for the upcoming semesters.

Highlights of our summer program week 2! 😊 It has been such a pleasure seeing our students enjoy their activities. This week's menu was Italian dishes. Our SYEP (Summer Youth Employment Program) interns even got the opportunity to take a class to become CPR & AED certified!

Week 1 of our summer program was a success! 😊 Students helped out on the farm located here on the SUNY Sullivan campus, cooked Greek cuisine this week for lunch, participated in a dance fitness class & much more.

Our SYEP (Summer Youth Employment Program) interns started their work assignments as well with us & did a great job helping out in the farm & across college departments.

In May, middle & high school students from Sullivan BOCES participated in a moving exhibit about the Revolutionary War in Sullivan County. Thanks to the Time and the Valleys Museum. Students spent time participating during their history classes in interactive activities with our tutors, Shanika & Colleen. Just in time for the 250th anniversary of America's Independence Day this year.

Another successful LPP Empire Promise Youth Summit for the books! Students from LPP programs across New York State gathered together for a time of collaboration amongst their peers. The theme for this year was Survivor: Rise of the Heroes & The Power Within. Students learned that they don't need any special powers to be a hero, they have all that they need within themselves to make a difference! Our students had a blast participating in this wonderful experience.
