Willer's Woodwinds Music Instruction in Bassoon, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, and Saxophone Willer's Woodwinds believes that music is an important part of enriching people's lives.

Willer's Woodwinds offers private music lessons in bassoon, clarinet, flute, oboe, and saxophone for all ages. Each student’s needs and goals are different and instruction should reflect these differences. Regardless of a whether a students is aiming to make a possible career in music, desires to learn a new skill, or wants to relearn an instrument, Willer's Woodwinds seeks to offer the very best

music education to each student. All music lessons at Willer's Woodwinds are given by Brenda Willer Buys. Brenda has a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the University of Arizona and a Master's degree in Multiple Woodwind Performance from Florida State University and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Arizona. Brenda has experience teaching students of all ages. As a music instructor for Music Lessons Express she taught private piano, group piano, and woodwinds to students ranging in age from 5-15. While at FSU and U of A she acted as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. For a semester Mrs. Buys was the instructor for the U of A bassoon studio during the bassoon professor's sabbatical in spring of 2012. More recently she has worked at the Santa Cruz Foundation for the Performing Arts as their woodwinds instructor teaching students ranging in age from 10 to 70. She is a member of the bassoon quartet LuftBassoons.

Stop by and see LuftBassoons perform at the Tucson Festival of Books. We will be at the Canyon performance venue in the Student Union Saturday March 14th at 1pm.

Join us on June 12th for our 4th Annual Concert in the Park!

Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy the music! Our orchestra will be playing pieces from composers such as Suppe, Hummel, Sousa, and several others.

The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. Show up early to get a good spot!
