April 29,2017 --- I participated in the Llano Art Guild sponsored Plein Air Paint-Out on Saturday. The weather was so hot and muggy before the front coming in. It went from 90 degrees with 65+ humidity after lunch to 65 degrees at 6:00pm. I had trouble choosing a spot to paint with so many great choices. The wildflowers are everywhere! I enjoyed meeting the artists in Llano and look forward to painting with them again!

Plein Air painting at Lost Maples State Park on my birthday. It was a pretty day weather wise. The tree colors have been better, but hey I have a palette full of colors! I can paint them any color I want! Patti Dugosh and Joyce Bendele from Devine joined me and we had fun painting at the park!!

Last week I went to San Angelo to the 3rd Annual En Plein Air Texas to see what was happening. The answer....LOTS! The weather was wonderful and the artists were spectacular! What an amazing event! I was not one of the competition artists (there were 35...amazing!) But I did participate in the quick draw on Saturday morning. So much fun! I'm sharing my 8x10 watercolor painted in 2 hours. Notice the red tag....SOLD! And paid for most of my trip. Will I go next year? I hope so!
