Celebrating 60 Years of Impact #5 - Tragedy struck when Arianna's grandfather suffered a heart attack, yet her path to nursing started from that experience. She was recently awarded our most prestigious award - the 2026-27 Foundation Scholar Award -, is working as a Corewell Health nursing technician and will transfer to Oakland University after commencement this coming spring. Tragedy struck when her grandfather suffered a heart attack, but watching healthcare workers assist his recovery showed Arianna Nunez-Conley that she could do the same. Her resilience during those formative moments would set her on the path to a career in nursing.

Celebrating 60 Years of Impact #3 - A groundbreaking public/private collaboration with the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union, Local 2 of Michigan, the Michigan Community College Association and Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity is pioneering a new workforce development model with Schoolcraft College being the first adopter. The initiative integrates apprenticeship training and a learner’s experience into credit toward an associate degree at 24 Michigan community colleges.

The Schoolcraft College Foundation played a significant part in supporting and securing funding for this partnership which will provide additional opportunities for Michigan residents to secure living wage-paying jobs, while providing an educational pathway to future careers if they choose to pursue them.

Most recently, the Foundation's Vision 2025 campaign doubled its fundraising goal under Dawn's leadership to improve student success and workforce development opportunities.
