In 1981 he became the first European ever awarded Menkyo Kaiden Shihan San Dai Kichu, and in 1997 he co-founded Hakko Denshin Ryu with Soke Michael LaMonica and Soke Irie Yasuhiro. Today the art counts more than 1,500 members worldwide. He learned the art from its source. This October, he brings it to ours.

Hanshi Scott Evans and Koyama Dojo, Honbu Dojo for North America, are honored to welcome him to Livonia.
