🕵️ WHERE ARE THEY NOW? 🕵️
🟡🔵Madonna University Alumna Luisa Wiewgorra is doing an outstanding job reporting at FOX 47 News in Lansing! What an accomplishment! 👏
In an interview, she tells us that she loves to research topics that affect people in Michigan. She has already reported on GM’s plans to build a battery plant in Lansing, as well as a study published by the Michigan State Police about traffic stops and racial disparity. Her favorite stories are the ones that impact and help people in the community, such as her most recent story about eating disorders, which emphasizes that boys and men are affected by eating disorders as well. She told the story of a mom who lost her son to Anorexia nervosa.
“Even though English will always be our second language, it shouldn’t stop us from pursuing our goals,” Luisa said. “I always thought I would need to pursue my career in Germany because of my accent when speaking English. I still work on improving my accent, but I met a lot of people who complimented me on it.”
