🦅 STUDENT INDEPENDENCE DAY IS COMING! 🦅🇺🇸

Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 27!💙

We are excited to celebrate our annual Student Independence Day at A.H. Roberts Elementary! On Thursday morning, all students will be dropped off in the carline and walk into school independently. This is a great opportunity for our Eagles to build confidence, responsibility, and independence!

Parents, Monday–Wednesday are perfect days to practice! Talk with your child about walking into school on their own and give them a little extra encouragement—especially those who may not be used to doing this independently. We know some students may be nervous at first, but we are ready to cheer them on! 🦅

🚸Important for Thursday: Parents who need to enter the building and proceed to their child’s classroom will need to sign in at the front office and receive a visitor tag.

Let’s help our Eagles spread their wings and soar into school independently! 🦅💙

First Week Fun! 🎉📚🦅

What a WEEK! 💙 Our Eagles have officially wrapped up their first full week of school, and we have been busy learning, growing, and finding our way!

This week was all about learning new routines, practicing expectations, making new friends, meeting new people, and—of course—learning lots of new things! 📖✏️

From figuring out where to go and when to go, to raising our hands, working together, walking in the hallways, and becoming more independent each day, our students have been doing an AMAZING job! 👏

The first week is always filled with new experiences, new faces, a few “Where do I go?” moments, and LOTS of learning. And that’s exactly what makes the beginning of a school year so special! 💙

We are so proud of our AHR Eagles and can’t wait to see what next week brings! 🦅✨

One week down…SO many more memories to make! 🤍

Hi AHR Families! 🦅💙

All car tags for afternoon dismissal have been sent home! If you haven’t seen your child’s tag, please check their backpack. 🎒

If your child’s tag was lost, they didn’t receive one, or you need an extra tag, you can stop by the front office to have one made. You may also let your child’s teacher know, and a new tag can be sent home tomorrow.

Please make sure your child’s car tag is hanging from your rearview mirror and clearly visible during pickup.🚗

Displaying your tag helps our car line run smoothly, quickly, and safely for all of our students and families.

What a wonderful evening at our annual Back to School Bash! 💙🦅

Thank you to all of our students and families who joined us tonight. It was an evening filled with hugs, high fives, smiles, and so much excitement as we get ready to kick off a fantastic school year on Friday!

Students had the opportunity to meet their grade-level teachers, pick up backpacks and school supplies, and enjoy a sweet treat with Mr. Cox during popsicle time! 🍧

We loved seeing our A.H. Roberts Eagles back in the building and can’t wait for an amazing year ahead. Thank you for being part of our school family! 💙🤍

We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing school year! Join us on Monday, August 3 beginning at 5:00 PM as we kick off the 2026–2027 school year!

📚 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM – Meet grade level teachers and grab school supplies while they last!

📖 5:30 PM – Join us in the library for our Annual Title I Meeting.

🍧 6:00 PM - Be sure to stop by the front lawn with Mr. Cox for “Popsicles with the Principal” as we celebrate the start of a fantastic new school year!
