We are almost half way through our first semester at The Learning Bench Academy. Fantastic first semester!

New student registration will open on Thursday, March 10th. Please email us for application instructions, fees, and deadlines.

*Please note we have limited space available in our lower school (K-8). Once full a wait list will be started.

The Learning Bench Academy begins classes on January 10th, 2022! We are currently accepting applications.

The Learning Bench is having a parent/family informational meeting tonight at 7 pm at Livingston Christian Center.

We want to partner with you as you look at other educational choices for your family. Come learn how we can help you and what we are all about.

We are adding 10 Kindergarten-8th grade students and 10 high school students to our classes immediately.

Tuition for 7 weeks (Oct 11-Nov 22) with one full day of classes and at-home guidance and curriculum instruction for K-8th = $300

Tuition for the above for 9th-12th grade = $500

Hourly tutoring and homeschool help for students and parents = $30/hour.

Spring tuition rates (2 full in-class days for 12 weeks) will be announced soon and may be dependent on number of students.

The Learning Bench Academy has had a busy few weeks, but we are ready to step into these uncertain times to help provide an education based on reading, writing, history, math, and science to your students. We are ready to help parents navigate a new educational model.

What is The Learning Bench Academy? A school? A tutoring center? A co-op?

We are actually a hybrid learning partner!

Our students fall under the homeschooling code in Montana. This makes the parents of each student their primary educator who make all decisions regarding the education of their students. Montana law allows for educational opportunities and resources to be used by homeschooling parents. With 16+ years of homeschooling under our belts in five different states, we are happy to help any family fill out and file their letter of intent to homeschool with the school district.

We provide a curriculum guide showing which books are used by our Academy to teach each subject while the students are here. We also provide a weekly guide for parents who would like to follow along with our schedule of our curriculum choices. There are decisions to be made by the parents: which math curriculum will you use, which literature books will you read, what is the focus of your homeschool, what educational philosophy do you lean towards.

At The Learning Bench Academy we know that each educational model has benefits. We strive to pick the best features from those models to provide small classes, great discussion, and lots of opportunity for learning.

Whether you are new to homeschooling or a decades long veteran, we would love to partner with you to provide a unique opportunity during unique times to enrich the education of your students!
