Tonight PCRFD Assistant Chief presented three certificates to our WBL students. Chloe, Layla and Sophia all completed around 50 hours (or more) of work based learning instruction.

These students came to us, and were the first "trial" of the WBL partnership with Park High School. Thank you to Janine Ensign, the parents of these young ladies, but mostly to these hard working, kind, young ladies. You honestly taught us more than we taught you. They came to us during a time of great change for our department, yet they were humble, graceful, they helped us with so much around the station, and hopefully had fun doing it.

On top of that, they have all asked, and we have agreed to allow them to continue through the summer with us! That means they will gain hands on training, call experience etc. There are limitations, but we know they will do great with what they are able.

Congratulations ladies on a job well done! We are so proud of you and glad you are sticking around.
