MTSU campus visit...charter bus transportation! A great day was had by all (a little chilly, but wonderful experience) visiting Middle Tennessee State University.

Today, Molly Risley, visited Mrs. Dee Smith's coding classes at Livingston Academy to discuss the possibility of earning the golden eagle cyber certificate. We are hopeful that this collaboration/opportunity is in our students' future.

We so appreciate our presenters from Vol State. Mrs. Melissa Norrod & Jamie Maxfield came to LA yesterday and talked to interested students about the nursing program at Vol State Community College. Thank you ladies! It was extremely informative and beneficial. Thanks again!

29 seniors visited Tennessee Technological University today. 💜 💛 It was so informative, and it was a gorgeous day as they toured the college campus. BIG decisions are ahead for all of the seniors. We are excited for each of them!

What a wonderful experience for Abbie Ledbetter, Abigail Deck and Cade Story. They were able to tour the campus of ETSU with the focus being on the health science programs. The group met up with the Gear Up cohort students (recent 2023 graduates) who are currently in their first semester @ ETSU and enjoyed dinner @ Cootie Brown's.

20 interested Livingston Academy seniors went on a campus visit today to the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Gear Up sponsored the trip, and we appreciate Teresa Johnson and Brandon Cross chaperoning the group. Everyoneconsidered today a wonderful, rewarding experience! 🧡 🤍 🧡🤍

Last week was College Application Week at Livingston Academy. The goal was for each senior to apply to at least one college. Seniors were able to "pop in" to the library and apply and enjoy snacks & drinks afterwards. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for each of them. Right now, they are soaking in their senior year. 👩🏻‍🎓 👨‍🎓 🎉
