I had the privilege of officiating Vanessa‘s B’nai Mitzvah at a gorgeous and special sephardic style Synagogue in Franklin, NJ. In 1919 Congregation Sons of Israel bought a Church for $100 and became the first Orthodox Synagogue of Sussex County. In 1975 they merged with Temple Shalom of Sussex County, and in 2015 merged again with The Jewish Center of Sussex County to create what’s now called B’nai Shalom of Sussex County. An incredibly special place steeped in so many memorable years of Jewish history!

Dr Adam Halpern has joined the office of Watchung Pediatrics in Millburn. 🩺

Big welcome to Dr. Adam Halpern, DO, FAAP — the newest pediatrician joining our Watchung Pediatrics family at the Millburn office!

Dr. Halpern earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College and completed his pediatrics residency and chief residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He’s warm, thoughtful, and yes — the bow tie is a signature.
