🎉🎉The 4th day of 4th grade…we talked about 4 things “new to me” in 4th grade , 4 things we “wonder about” in 4th grade, and 4 things we “are hoping for” in 4th grade! 🤍
What made the of the lists…

•new to me-hallway and start time (lol), •wonder-will we do AR, will our work get more difficult, •hoping for-pool party in May and better grades!

📚We jumped right into our first read aloud yesterday and today used a pair/share strategy to discuss the character’s feelings and why she may have felt this way! The conversations were fabulous! (Oh my teacher heart!❤️)
Ask your scholar what mental pictures they created during our read aloud-I feel certain they will have at least 2 really vivid ones to share from our first chapter! It’s a good one!

Spring Fling this Friday, May 1st

Good morning 4th and 5th grade parents! We are so excited about the SPRING FLING!

Things to Know…

*Friday, May 1st 6:00-8:00 PM

*Dress-there is not a “theme”....just spring time. We can’t wait to see everyone dressed up. Please make sure all clothes are school appropriate.

*You will enter at the front of Cedar Grove. The doors will open at 6 PM.

*Students must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

*Cash Payment for entry, food and drinks, and photo prints are available as you enter the front doors. Pizza will be $2/slice and canned drinks are $2 each. Prints at the photo booth will be available for $1 per print. Prints will be given to students the week of May 5th.

*Coach Morris has been teaching and practicing with our students so they are ready to hit the dance floor.
