šŸ† Tournament Championship: Final Results Recap

What a weekend on the water! Our teams fought hard through both days of the championship, and we couldn't be prouder of how they represented the LA Anglers. Here is the final breakdown:

Gunner Robbins & Drew Smith

Gunner and Drew stayed consistent and kept the momentum going through the final weigh-in. They brought another solid bag to the scales today with 5 fish weighing 12.50 lbs.

ā€¢ 2-Day Total: 25.45 lbs
ā€¢ Tournament Finish: 9th Place Overall
ā€¢ Season Standings: This performance secured them 2nd Place in the season points race!

Watching these young men climb the leaderboard all year has been a highlight of the season. Huge congratulations on a top-ten finish and an incredible overall season!

Korbin & Cason Crabtree

The Crabtree brothers faced some tough conditions and a stubborn bite over the last two days. Despite the struggle, they kept their heads up and ground it out until the final minute. They added 1 fish weighing
2.87 lbs to the board today.

ā€¢ Tournament Finish: 35th Place Overall

In fishing, the "rough days" are often where you learn the most. We are proud of Korbin and Cason for their grit and for weighing in fish both days when the bite was clearly difficult.

Day 1 is in the books! šŸŽ£

Our teams battled it out on the water today and put some solid weight on the scales. Gunner Robbins and Drew Smith brought in a heavy limit of 5 fish totaling 12.95 lbs, anchored by a 2.92 lb kicker! Theyā€™re sitting in a great spot and will be right back at it tomorrow morning.

Korbin and Cason Crabtree got on the board today with a 2.33 lb catch. It only takes one big bite to change the game, and both teams are still on the hunt for that trophy! šŸ†

TBF Beast of the East: A Dominant Finish for Junior LA Anglers!

The final TBF tournament of the season wrapped up this past weekend on Lake Nickajack, and despite the soggy conditions, our junior teams didn't just show upā€”they took over!

Competing in a tough two-day fish-off, all three of our LA Angler teams secured spots in the Top 5, proving that hard work and persistence truly pay off.

Tournament Results:

2nd Place: Gunner Robbins & Drew Smith (28.82 lbs)

3rd Place: Korbin Crabtree & Cason Crabtree (27.91 lbs)

5th Place: Weston Nolen & JD Sullivan (22.07 lbs)

Individual & Season Highlights

šŸŽ£ Big Fish Honors: Huge shoutout to Korbin Crabtree for landing the Big Fish of the entire Junior Division! He caught a personal best Largemouth weighing in at 5.91 lbs.

šŸŽ£ Anglers of the Year: A massive congratulations to Korbin and Cason Crabtree, who were officially recognized as the TBF Anglers of the Year for accumulating the most points over the entire season!

Next Stop: The World Championship!

We are thrilled to announce that four of our anglers have officially qualified for the TBF Junior World Tournament!

Qualifiers: Gunner Robbins, Drew Smith, Korbin Crabtree, and Cason Crabtree.

They will be heading to Lake Dardanelle, Arkansas this July to compete on the world stage.

We couldn't be prouder of these young men and their dedication to the sport.

Nickajack Lake: TBN East Trail Championship Recap

The LA Anglers were back on the water this weekend for the TBN East Trail Championship at Nickajack Lake!

We were represented by two hardworking teamsā€”one High School and one Juniorā€”who put in a great effort against a tough field.

High School Division

Carter Hall and Fletcher Copeland brought a solid bag to the scales. They finished the day with four fish weighing a total of 12.66 lbs. A huge highlight was Carterā€™s kicker, a beautiful 4.93 lb big fish!

Junior Division

Our Junior team, Korbin and Cason Crabtree, showed great consistency on the water. The boys successfully caught their limit, weighing in at 10.30 lbs.

It was a day of extremes, starting with a crisp 61Ā°F morning and climbing to a sweltering 91Ā°F by the afternoon. While neither team cracked the top 10 this time around, we couldn't be prouder of the character and determination these young men showed throughout the tournament.

What an incredible day at Dillon Pond for the ā€˜Fishing with Friendsā€™ event!

Our high school anglers hosted Mrs. Karlaā€™s and Mrs. Aprilā€™s class for a morning fishing at the pond, and the results were truly heart-moving.

To say Iā€™m proud of these young men would be an understatement. They showed incredible character and leadership, stepping up as mentors to ensure everyone had an unforgettable experience. They didn't just catch fish today; they built community and created lasting memories for everyone involved. These are the days that matter most! šŸŽ£ā¤ļø

The LA Anglers were at it again today, taking on the TBF Beast of the East trail at Nickajack! Our teams put in the work and brought some solid bags to the scales. šŸŽ£

Junior Division Standouts

ā€¢ šŸ„ˆ Drew Smith & Gunner Robbins: Took home 2nd Place with a strong 5-fish limit weighing 12.41 lbs!
ā€¢ šŸ„‰ Cason Crabtree & Korbin Crabtree: Secured 3rd Place with 5 fish weighing in at 12.00 lbs.

ā€¢ Weston Nolen & JD Sullivan: Caught "shorts" all day long! While the keepers proved elusive this time, we love the hustle and the grind.

High School Division

ā€¢ Cooper Roberts & Blake Melton: Brought in 2 fish for a total of 4.27 lbs.

Huge shoutout to all our anglers for representing LA Anglers with pride. Whether it was a podium finish or a day of "almosts," these kids are out there getting it done!
