The Montana Education Program offers unique alternative educational opportunities to youth in Montana.
We offer a free after school tech and trade program, a full alternative day school as well as our Free summer programs.

We would love you to join are team and are looking for an independent individuals who would love to explore, learn and share your passions and bring what you love into your work.
We promote a creative work environment where you can express yourself and use your teaching style while meeting student needs.

First day of our new Day School was a success! We started by getting to know each other, via PowerPoint or essay. Then, we moved onto our vision boards for the rest of the year. Last, but not least, we did some construction/carpentry to put together our new white board wall!

Oh, and of course we have to love on our class pets!

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

We at MAERA and the MEP are pleased to announce the opening of the Montana Education Programs totally FREE Alternative Day School!!

Fully inclusive, FREE, student centered day program for 6-10th grade, and tutor/mentor opportunities for 11 and 12th.

Through supporting each individual learning style and using hands-on applicable education techniques, indoors and out, our program is designed to meet your child wherever they are at.
We focus, not only on their specific learning needs, but also their social and emotional needs in a safe, welcoming environment.

We offer a small student to instructor ratio of 1:6.

Open to any youth: District Internet based, homeschool, currently not in school, etc.

We are committed to full community collaboration and support for our programs and we can't fully help our youth without that.

Thank you all for supporting us since 2011 as we continue to grow and support youth in our community. We are continuing to grow and have plans to expand to lower grades in the future.

We hope everyone is staying safe this weekend with all the snow.

Due to the weather conditions, we are postponing the first day of The Alternative Day School to Tuesday, March 28, 2023. We are excited to meet everyone and get started with our new journey!

The Montana Education Program IS OPENING AN ALTERNATIVE DAY SCHOOL AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR DONATIONS!!

We are in need of:
- File cabinet (preferably a big one)
- Notebooks, folders, loose leaf paper
- Dry erase markers and erasers
- Large Storage Bins
- Craft supplies
- Anything else related to school supplies

All donations can be dropped off at 105 S. 2nd Street in downtown Livingston during our office hours, Monday-Thursday 10-5, and Fridays 9-3. Anything is appreciated!

We had a fun filled Friday with our homeschool group! SVALINN came with some of their dogs to teach us about the breeds and what they do. Then, we worked on some team and communication activities. We got to enjoy the sun at the playground and while doing chalk. AND WE MADE SLIME!! The kids are ending the day with our chicks and seeing how big they are growing so far!
