Candidate for Livingston Board of Education (LBOE)

Today we welcome a sacred season of renewal and devotion across faiths and cultures.
In the Hindu tradition, Navratri begins—nine nights honoring Goddess Durga and the divine feminine power. Soon after comes Durga Pujo, when communities gather in prayer, art, and celebration of the Goddess.
At the same time, our Jewish brothers and sisters begin Rosh Hashanah, the New Year 5786, entering a time of reflection, prayer, and hope.
And across East Asia, families celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, giving thanks for the harvest, the moon’s light, and the blessings of reunion.
Though distinct in practice, these holy days share a common spirit: renewal, gratitude, devotion, and the embrace of family and community. May this season bring peace, strength, and joy to all who celebrate.
✨ Happy Navratri & Durga Pujo

Congratulations to our 2025 cohort of 66 women running strong across New Jersey! This is the youngest and most diverse class including 12 under 40 (with 2 under 25) and record numbers of APIDA and Latina women. In just five years, we’ve endorsed 214 women, raised over $130K, and reached all 21 counties. This milestone is about breaking barriers and reshaping power for the next generation of women leaders.
Thank you to the Livingston community for this opportunity. I’m immensely grateful and looking forward to working alongside the other board members to keep our schools excellent.

Endorsed by West Essex Tribune.
“But based on what we have heard and read from her, Khemka seems like she would be an outstanding fit on the Board. Of the three new challengers, she appears to most have her finger on the pulse of the community. An avid volunteer in Livingston, we appreciate her commitment to her town and feel that experience would prove useful in the position. We also feel that she is well- equipped to quickly get up to speed were she to join the other members of the Board.”
