Update on PARKING....
The church accross the street is graciously allowing people to park there again this year. Also the empty lot next to us is available for parking if it is dry enough. WE HAVE NOT GOTTEN PERMISSION TO PARK AT O'REILLY'S. There will be law enforcement directing traffic and assisting people crossing the road. Please cross safely.

Espresso Geaux is coming back next Wednesday morning!!!

Reminder that Espresso Geaux will be at the daycare tomorrow from 7:15-8am for parents, staff and the general public. Come grab a cup of jeaux while you are on the geaux! First 5 staff drinks are on me, second 5 are on Maggie Koerner and 3rd 5 are on Jessica Gaston Legath!!

I just want to give a shout out to LPPS, Mrs. Penny and all the staff. Dropping your child off there is like dropping them off at grandmas, your aunts house (but not an aunt Karen bc we all know about Karens), your best friends house, your sister in laws (unless your sis in law sucks), etc. You roll up, all proud of yourself, thinking you have your life together and are rocking mom life then boom, you forgot something.. now you feel like a dummy, now the anxiety and stress hits... then you get the reassuring “don’t worry about it momma, we got it” or “don’t stress, bring it tommorrow (when they know darn well you are going to forget for like a week). I appreciate not only the care you provide to our children in our absence but the care and understanding for the parents because you know we try our best but are also human. I’ve been back to daycare 3 times today because I can’t get it together and each time they have reassured me that Jayden would have been taken care of and had what he needs if i wouldn’t have been able to come back today. Thank you!!! We love you!!! You make parenting a little easier!! ❤️❤️

Back in 2018 Mr. Mason Halabi graduated 🎓 pre-K at LPPS Now he’s moving to 2nd grade at Doyle Elementary. Please look forward to My call soon I’ll be enrolling the newest addition of our Halabi family Madison into pre-K. Looking forward for her to meet you wonderful ladies. Every time we pass the daycare she say “Mommy im going to school there soon like a big girl.” 🥰💕🎓

We are currently seeking an experienced teacher's assistant in the one year old classroom. You must be 18 years old and able to pass a drug test, as well as a background check . Your duties will be assisting the lead teacher with diaper changing, feeding, daily curriculum, along with numerous other duties. Utmost patience is required and the ability to be silly and act foolish is a must!!! Our little people love to play and that is how they learn. You must have the ability to bend and stand for long periods of time. If you are interested, please come in person to the daycare to fill out an app and interview with the director.

Late last night Myles went on & on about how he had to be twins with a boy in his class for Twin Day because they look exactly the same- same eyes, same hair.

He was adamant that they were identical. So after the kids went to bed I headed to Walmart at 9pm to get matching outfits.

Their teacher sent me this picture today.
My heart melted.

Obviously two very different children, but Myles didn’t see that.

Wouldn’t the world be such a better place if we could all view it through the eyes of a couple 5yr olds♥️

Yearly PSA ☺️❄️ if you see a child going from a warm car into a warm building without a coat, it is fine. The mother is probably educated in car seat safety and knows that their child should not wear a winter coat in a car seat. She probably also knows that it would quite literally take more time to get the child out of the car seat, and fight to get them into a winter coat then it would to just run into the warm building. She probably also has a blanket for her child to help keep nice and cozy in the car, maybe even wraps them in it to get into their destination. 🥶 🧥 🤫

She probably also understands how illnesses work and knows that cold air does not make you sick. 🦠
