💙 9/8 FOR 988 | LET’S MOVE FOR CONNECTION 💙

September is Su***de Prevention & Awareness Month, and on September 8, 2026, Rural Resilience is bringing the message of 988 to light across our communities.

We’re inviting schools, students, staff, families, businesses, organizations, and community members to join us in a shared moment of movement, connection, and awareness.

💙 Move. Connect. Remember.

Because su***de prevention isn’t just about what we do in a crisis. It’s about creating communities where people feel connected, supported, and comfortable asking for help before a crisis happens.

Asking for help is a skill, not a weakness.

The 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7 by call, text, or chat for anyone experiencing a mental health, substance use, or su***de crisis — or for anyone worried about someone they care about.

Let’s make 988 something our communities know, talk about, and remember.

You are not alone. Help is available. Connection matters. 💙

Back to School. Back to Connection. Back to Resilience.

🎒 Back to school. Back to helping our communities thrive. 💙

As the school year begins, Rural Resilience is excited to get back to what we do best—strengthening connections, providing support, intervening early, offering therapy and behavioral solutions, and helping students and families navigate the challenges of everyday life.

We are wishing all of the schools, educators, families, and students we serve a safe, successful, and meaningful school year! We are especially excited to help our students understand that taking care of themselves mentally is just as important as taking care of themselves physically. 🧠💙

Here’s to a year of stronger connections, earlier support, healthier coping skills, and building resilience to thrive.

Welcome back—we’re ready to roll! 🍎🎒

We’re Looking for a Couch! 🛋️❤️

We’re asking our amazing community to lend Rural Resilience a helping hand!

We’re looking for a couch or loveseat for our new space at Shields Valley School. While it may seem like a simple piece of furniture, magic is going to happen on this couch! ✨

This will be a welcoming place where students can receive mental health support, participate in groups, connect with trusted adults, and where families can find support and resources. ❤️

If you have a gently used couch or loveseat that you’re ready to part with, we would love to see it! Please send pictures and details to [email protected].

🚚 Delivery would be a HUGE plus!

Sometimes, a helping hand—and a comfortable couch—is all it takes to create a space where healing, connection, and resilience can grow.

Help us make this couch the place where magic happens! 🛋️✨

✨ Thank You, Park County! ✨

Because of your incredible generosity, Rural Resilience raised $14,013 during the Give a Hoot Campaign, thanks to the support of 34 amazing donors! 💙

Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement, and every act of support helps us continue our mission of connecting rural students, educators, families, and communities with the behavioral and mental health resources they need to thrive.

As summer comes to a close, we are excited to welcome a new school year and get back to doing what we do best—supporting the students, teachers, school staff, and communities we proudly serve throughout Park County.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the well-being of our rural communities. Together, we are building stronger, healthier, and more resilient futures.

As we wrap up the final week of our Trailblazer Summer Program, our hearts are full of gratitude. ❤️

It has been an incredible honor to spend the summer learning, growing, exploring, and building meaningful connections with the amazing students, families, and communities of Gardiner and Shields Valley. Every smile, adventure, and shared moment has reminded us why investing in our youth matters so much.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this summer such a success—from our participants and families to our community partners and supporters. You have made a lasting impact.

While we’re sad to see Trailblazer come to an end for this season, we’re already looking forward to next summer! In the meantime, we’re excited to continue serving youth and families with programs and supports throughout the upcoming school year.

Here’s to a strong finish, a wonderful school year ahead, and many more opportunities to build resilience, foster connection, and empower the next generation. 💙🌲

If you’d like to support and offer other students this opportunity consider donating to our Give a Hoot campaign, donations are partially matched!

ONLY FOUR MORE DAYS TO GIVE A HOOT!

Some investments change lives for a moment. Others change the future.
At Rural Resilience, we’re investing in what matters most: the mental health and well-being of our rural communities.
💚 We support youth by providing access to mental health services, building resilience, and creating safe spaces where they can grow and thrive.
🌞 Through our Summer Trailblazers program, children gain confidence, develop healthy coping skills, build friendships, and create lasting memories in an environment designed to strengthen their well-being.
🍎 We invest in educators by supporting their mental health, professional development, and retention—because when teachers are supported, entire classrooms and communities benefit.
🤝 We partner with families, providing resources, guidance, and support so they never have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Every child deserves hope. Every educator deserves support. Every family deserves access to care. Together, we’re building stronger, healthier rural communities—one relationship, one family, and one future at a time.
Your support during Give a Hoot helps make this possible. Every gift, every share, and every conversation brings us one step closer to ensuring that no child, family, or educator has to face these challenges alone.
Together, we’re not just meeting today’s needs—we’re creating a brighter future for the next generation.
