Livermore School of Dance

This isn't our first rodeo- but for some of our performers it was their first rodeo parade! Our Toy Box Rodeo campers and some of our Jazz and Ballet Company dancers both got to perform. We had such a fun time in the Livermore Rodeo Parade, great job dancers!

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨
Our next senior is Makenna Wilhoit! This is what she has to say:
“My favorite dance memories are hanging out backstage and in the wings during our performances when everyone is so excited and the energy is really high!
I’m so excited to attend Chapman University in the fall where I will study PR, Advertising, & Entertainment Marketing.
I am extremely grateful for these past 15 years and all of the friendships and memories I have been lucky to make.“

We wish Makenna the best in college and beyond!

We are closed for regularly scheduled classes today for the Memorial Day holiday. Classes resume as scheduled tomorrow, Tuesday the 26th!
This is also our final week of classes for the 2025/2026 season!

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨ Sadie Haan

“My favorite moments were the little ones, just spending time with people who became a second family. Whether it was talking about life between barre combos, getting a little too silly in class, or grabbing boba between rehearsals, those are the memories I will carry with me. I am so grateful for everyone who made my dance experience so special. After graduation, I will be attending University of California, Santa Cruz to study marine biology.”

We’re very excited to see all that Sadie accomplishes!

It’s that time of year again! Our shows are right around the corner and you won’t want to miss them!

Our ballet division is bringing you A Frozen Tale! Come see all of your favorite character brought to life! From Elsa and Anna, Olaf and Sven, and even Trader Oaken (Yoo-hoo!), come journey into the unknown with us! Shows are June 6th at 7pm, and June 7th at 2pm.

Our Jazz division will be performing On Broadway! This upbeat show is a tribute to all things Broadway! Come see dances set to music from The Greatest Showman, Shrek, Back To The Future, Thoroughly Modern Mille, and many more!
Our Senior Jazz show is on June 5th at 7pm, and our Junior Jazz show is on June 6th at 2pm.

And don’t miss out on our youngest dancers! Our Creative Movement performance, Frozen Adventures, showcases our youngest dancers ranging in age from 2-7! They will be delighting their audience on May 31st at 1pm.

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨ Millie Goldsberry

“Millie’s favorite memory was performing as Jack in Into The Woods with Eva as her mom and Payton as Milky White, she is excited to perform as Grand Pappy troll in Frozen. Millie plans to attend Las Positas for two years and then transfer elsewhere to finish her degree in History.“

We can’t wait to see all that Millie will achieve!

✨SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨Michela Whetstone

It’s that time of year again! Over the next several weeks, we will be posting some favorite photos and dance memories of our graduating seniors.

“Michela’s favorite dance memory is getting her first big soloist role as Queen Triton in The Little Mermaid Ballet Performance and being in scenes with all of her friends on stage. After 15 years as a dancer at LSOD, her plans after high school graduation are to attend Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to pursue a degree in molecular and cell biology. She will cherish all the wonderful memories from Livermore School of Dance.”

We are so excited for Michela and can’t wait to see all that she will accomplish!

We hope all of our dancers and dance families enjoyed their spring breaks! Classes resume tomorrow, April 13th, and we’re looking forward to being back in the classroom together!

Our ballet and jazz company dancers celebrated all of their hard work with a cast party last weekend! They found out who their secret buddy has been all season, and watched the performance video of Into The Woods!
