Incredibly proud to attend the ACSA Region 6 Awards last night where we honored one of our own, Suzanne Smith, Director of College and Career Readiness, as the Career Technical Administrator (CTE) of the Year! Suzanne was recognized for her exemplary work in CTE specifically for her work in alternative education settings that provide individual advising, structured work-based learning and professional mentorship to students who often are not afforded those same opportunities as their peers at comprehensive high schools. This work has included creating a summer certified nursing assistance program for alternative education students as well as access to dual enrollment opportunities at Las Positas College. Tri-Valley ROP is lucky to have her on our team! Congratulations Suzanne🙌🎉❤️!
