September 19th is fast approaching, and we need your help to make this year's Community Service Day a success! Join LVJUSD, the City of Livermore, and LARPD to help beautify our school campuses.

Volunteer projects are open at the following sites:
• Christensen Middle School
• Joe Michell TK-8
• Junction Avenue TK-8
• Lawrence Elementary
• Livermore High School
• Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy
• Smith Elementary
• Sunset Elementary

Start your morning at 8:00 AM on September 19th with a free breakfast at the Robert Livermore Community Center (hosted by the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation), grab your event t-shirt, and then head to your site from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Friendly reminder! Back to School Night is TONIGHT!

This is an evening for parents and guardians only. Your child received the attached Back to School Night schedule in their Core class.

The evening will begin with a Welcome to Parents meeting at 5:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room. Classroom visitation will begin with zero period at 5:56 p.m., and first period will begin at 6:10 p.m.

The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) Parent Group will meet at 5:00 p.m. in Room 601.

The Athletic Department will hold a sports information meeting for parents of students interested in participating on a CMS sports team beginning at 7:35 p.m. in the Gym.

Additionally, there will be a meeting for the 2027 Trip presented by Mrs. Bauman in room 203.

We look forward to seeing you at Back to School Night.

Back to School Night is this Thursday, August 27th, from 530pm to 730pm. Families will follow their student’s bell schedule, moving from class to class to tour the campus and meet their student’s teachers. This is a great opportunity to meet your student's teachers and ask questions if you have not already.

Christensen Middle School is hiring a Yard Duty Supervisor! We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with middle school students and can help us keep campus safe, welcoming, and well supervised during lunch and other assigned times.

This is a part time, 0.25 FTE position working approximately two hours per day:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:30 AM–12:30 PM

The position pays $20.49–$27.47 per hour. Responsibilities include supervising students, helping reinforce school expectations, supporting student safety, and assisting with needs that come up during lunch and around campus.
