Marylin Ave STEAM Academy PTO

Field Day 2026 is happening on Wednesday, May 27! 🎉

We STILL NEED MORE adult volunteers to help make this event happen! Please sign up for one or both of the time slots here: https://bit.ly/4vZulSw if you are able to help make this event possible.

All Kindergarten through 5th grade students will rotate through exciting events with their classes, including an obstacle course, relay races, water balloon toss, musical “chairs” and are treated to a healthy snack from PTO.

What a perfect day to have your student wear their tie-dye shirts in a colorful and festive themed dress day! Parents/caregivers please note that some of the Field Day activities include water so plan to have your student(s) bring a change of clothes and come dressed for a day of outside play with a labeled reusable water bottle.

TK students will have their own special Field Day activities on their playground, so everyone gets in on the fun! If you are part of the TK family, please check with your TK teacher directly regarding Field Day.

Last PTO Meeting of the Year

We look forward to celebrating all of our accomplishments that with you, and sharing the impact PTO has made on campus as we continue to plan and discuss the end of year events as well as the General PTO 2026-2027 Budget.

Roadrunner Spirit!

This week you will see our Marylin Avenue STEAM Academy staff rocking some brand new Spirit Jerseys, a combined effort from School admin and Marylin Ave STEAM Academy PTO. These jerseys proudly commemorate the year Marylin Ave officially become a STEAM Academy and received our STEAM grant designation (2022).

Changing our school culture and focus has been a work in progress and truly a coordinated team effort. This year, our Roadrunner families were able to celebrate when our campus renovations were complete. Those renovations included new TK classrooms/playground, 3 STEAM Labs, a refreshed Library/Research Center, a new Garden and outdoor classroom space and more. Way to go Roadrunners! We hope our MASA Staff continue to show their pride in what we have accomplished so far as well as recognizing the enduring spirit in the work that still lies ahead.

Esta semana verás a nuestro personal de la Academia STEAM de Marylin Avenue con algunas camisetas Spirit nuevas, un esfuerzo combinado del administrador de la escuela y el PTO de la Academia STEAM de Marylin Ave. Estas camisetas conmemoran con orgullo el año en que Marylin Ave se convirtió oficialmente en una Academia STEAM y recibió nuestra designación de subvención STEAM (2022).

Cambiar nuestra cultura y enfoque escolar ha sido un trabajo en progreso y verdaderamente un esfuerzo de equipo coordinado. Este año, nuestras familias Roadrunner pudieron celebrar cuando se completaron las renovaciones de nuestro campus, que incluyeron nuevas aulas/paredas de TK, 3 laboratorios STEAM, una biblioteca/centro de investigación renovado, un nuevo jardín y un aula al aire libre y más. ¡Bien hecho, Roadrunners! Esperamos que nuestro personal de MASA continúe mostrando su orgullo por lo que hemos logrado hasta ahora, así como reconocer el espíritu duradero en el trabajo que aún está por venir.
