During the inauguration of 47 today as a citizen who voted I have NO intention of watching the ceremony.

On this national holiday celebration of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy I will consider how we can change our political mindset from policies being created based on the color of our skin to a government led by people who create policies with regard to the content of the character of those impacted which is in contrast to how policies are currently shaped. Just a thought.

Answer: Air pollution & health from burning fossil fuels result in ~7 million deaths a year worldwide. Reducing the fossil fuels could avoid 2.5 million premature deaths each year by 2050

Conclusion: One of these 2.5 million could be your loved one.

Question: What are Representative Concentration Pathways?

Answer: (RCPs) are GHG concentration trajectory scenarios. RCP 8.5 are for if in the worst-case emissions continue to rise throughout the 21st century while RCP 2.6 describe if carbon emissions decline by 2020 and zero in 2100, with reduction in other GHGs

Conclusion: Emissions have not declined to date of a year-to-year basis and may not decline until 2040 at the earliest. What does that represent?
