Saint Michael School

Catholic elementary school (TK-8) guided by Dominican pillars of Prayer, Study, Community, and Service.

Saint Michael School is an extension of the teaching ministry of the Catholic Church. We base our philosophy of education on the fundamental dignity and the uniqueness of the individual as created by God. We affirm that Catholic education encompasses the whole of human life. We endeavor to foster the intellectual and spiritual growth of the children in our care. We hope that our students will embrace Christian values in the context of our Catholic identity, experience true community during their time with us, and achieve both academic success and social well being. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. Only with their support can the teachers and the administrators of Saint Michael School help their students realize their potential, appreciate the global society in which they live, share in its responsibilities and challenges, and contribute to its betterment.

At tonight’s Livermore City Council meeting, members of the Granada Livermore Little League team were recognized for an incredible achievement - becoming the 2026 Intermediate (50/70) Little League U.S. Champions!

Among those honored was our very own St. Michael School 8th grader Kaleb Juan! 💛💚

What an accomplishment for Kaleb, his teammates and the entire Granada Livermore Little League community. ⚾️👏🏆

We're Calling Young Catholics in 3rd Grade and Up to Become an Altar Server!

🙏Altar serving is a meaningful way for youth to participate in the Mass, serve our parish community, and grow in faith. Must have received First Communion, be in the 3rd grade or older, and be St Michael parishioner.

👩‍🏫There are four training sessions in the series: Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 15 all at 3:30 pm in the Church

🎉 Happy Birthday to our wonderful 1st Grade Teacher Ms. Nims! 🎂💛💚

Ms. Nims felt called to teaching because she wanted to make a difference in the lives of students and help shape their future.

“I wanted to be a teacher because I wanted to help with the future. The best way to do that is with students fostering that now so it makes an impact later.”

We’re so grateful her journey brought her to St. Michael School, where she says it’s the community that makes SMS special.

Today, we celebrate Ms. Nims and the faith, dedication and joy she brings to her 1st graders and our entire SMS community. Please join us in wishing her a very Happy Birthday! 🥳🎈

The Sounds of Fall Festival

Music, performances and entertainment bring the Saint Michael School blacktop to life during Fall Festival!

From live music to performances throughout the day, there’s always something happening and something to enjoy.

This year’s entertainment lineup includes Mexican Folk Dance Group, Livermore Fil-Am Cultural Dance Troupe, Granada High School Jazz Band, the Saint Michael School Violin Club, and more.

Happy Birthday Mrs. Miron! 🎉

What better way to celebrate than surrounded by her 8th graders! 🥰

Since 2007, Mrs. Miron has been an important part of our Saint Michael School family, sharing her gifts as a teacher of music, math and religion and now guiding the Class of 2027 as their 8th grade homeroom teacher.

We are so grateful for the faith, dedication and heart she brings to Saint Michael each day. Please join us in wishing Mrs. Miron a very happy and blessed birthday! 🎉🙏

We are so grateful for our Pastor Fr. B**h and the special connection he shares with our students!

Whether he’s visiting classrooms, joining us at school events or stepping up to the plate for a little recess kickball, Fr. B**h is always ready to join in the fun! And judging by this kick, he may have been taking the game pretty seriously! 😄⚽️

We love seeing these joyful moments of faith, fun and community at St. Michael School!

One of the best parts of the St. Michael Fall Festival? The food!

Our St. Michael community represents many cultures and traditions, and Fall Festival brings those flavors together in one place.

Come hungry and enjoy delicious food prepared and served by members of our parish community, featuring Vietnamese, Filipino, Mexican and African cuisine, plus American favorites like hamburgers served by the Knights of Columbus.

Did you know our TK students are paired with 8th grade buddies?

It’s a special St. Michael School tradition that brings our youngest and oldest students together throughout the year. Our 8th graders sit with their TK buddies during Mass, participate in buddy activities and help them feel right at home in our school community.

For our TK students, it means having a special role model and friend to look up to. For our 8th graders, it’s an opportunity to lead, serve and set an example for the next generation of St. Michael students. 💚💛
