Building Community 💚💛

This week, our amazing St. Michael School Middle School teachers welcomed families with a Root Beer Float Social, giving students and parents a chance to reconnect, meet new friends, and begin building relationships before the first day of school. Principal Knight joined the fun as we celebrated the excitement of a new year together!

Join us in celebrating Kaleb and his team (Allstars from both Granada and Livermore Little Leagues) as they represent the West Region in the Intermediate 50/70 Little League World Series in Livermore after capturing the West Region Championship in Nogales, Arizona! 🏆

Kaleb and his teammates earned their spot on the world stage with an impressive 7-4 victory over Southern California to claim the West Region title. Now they’ll begin their World Series journey right here in Livermore!

🎓 Celebrating Our Alumni!

Congratulations to Arianna Ibarra, St. Michael School Class of 2022, who is headed to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo this fall!

A graduate of Mountain House High School, Arianna successfully completed a rigorous four-year engineering program while balancing both travel and high school softball - a remarkable accomplishment that reflects her dedication, perseverance, and drive.

At St. Michael School, we are proud to have helped lay the foundation for Arianna’s success by fostering academic excellence, strong character, and a faith-filled community. Those values have continued to guide her as she pursues her dreams.

Congratulations to Xochitl Araiza, a proud St. Michael School Class of 2022 alumna, on her incredible achievements!

After graduating as the Valedictorian of Carondelet High School’s Class of 2026, Xochitl will be attending the United States Naval Academy, where she plans to study Chemistry.

During her four years at Carondelet, Xochitl was a member of the swim team, volunteered with Tax-Aid, a Bay Area nonprofit that provides free tax preparation services to low-income individuals, and earned the Brown University Book Award and a Principal’s Nomination to the United States Naval Academy.

At St. Michael School, we are especially proud to have been part of Xochitl’s educational journey. As a member of our Class of 2022, she built a strong foundation rooted in faith, academic excellence, service, and leadership, the values that continue to guide her today. Watching our alumni achieve extraordinary things reminds us that the seeds planted at St. Michael continue to grow long after graduation.

Today, the St. Michael School Advisory Board joined Principal Julie Knight, Pastor Fr. B**h, and Karen Goodshaw, Associate Superintendent for Leadership for the Diocese of Oakland (not pictured), for an inspiring off-site retreat at the beautiful San Damiano Retreat Center.

Together, we prayed, collaborated, and envisioned the future of St. Michael School, strengthening our shared commitment to providing an exceptional Catholic education rooted in faith, academic excellence, and service.
