Okay classmates. Newest update!! Holiday Inn in Osceola is confirming dates for reunion. October 3rd(Homecoming is Oct 2nd) or October 17th. I should know a definite by this Friday and I will go ahead and sign contract with them. Tell me now/by Thursday at 8pm if this is a problem otherwise I will proceed as planned.

Also, those of you who are contacting DJ, caterers and decorators, please get with me ASAP on booking them for either of those dates, food and prices. Holiday Inn restaurant offers catering as well and I am waiting on their GM to return call/email with costs and food.

Contact people of classes of 85, 87 and 88, please get with your people and update them ASAP to send contact info. We need a headcount soon!!

I have spoken with the Holiday Inn in Osceola about their meeting room for Saturday night. The room itself is $175.00 5:30 pm til 11pm with an hour before allowed for setup. Their resturant offers catering, with either a sit down meal or appetizer/finger foods thru the night and a cash bar ( I will get prices on this at a later date, if we decide to go this way)

Also, I have a meet and greet place in mind for Friday night with appetizers and drinks and I am waiting on a call back for further details and prices. Again, Friday night meet and greet will be determined by date of reunion and if we decide on homecoming. I am looking into 3 sets of dates.

June 5th and 6th
September 4th and 5th
October 16th and 17th depending on if this is Homecoming game weekend. I am waiting on cofirmation.

Please let us know your thoughts on any of this.

Also want to add, I need to know if rooms are needed to stay. The Holiday Inn offers a group discount of standard rooms for $140.00 per night for any of the previous mentioned dates.

The only way this will be a successful reunion is if we all help to make it happen. 40 years people!!
