150:5 Drums

My name is Dylann Hofer. When I was only 2 years old I received my first drum kit. It wasn't a lot, but it was just enough to keep my interest throughout my toddler years. I've lived in Live Oak for about 12 years now and drumming just about the same number of years. It all began with the movie "Drumline" and my passion for music. In 6th grade I joined the school band and all I wanted to do was drum. When asked if I wanted to try any other instrument, I just laughed and kept on drumming. After high school and getting to play with the Suwannee High Marching Band, I started to develop my drumming style and technique on a full drum kit in church. My dad, who is an acomplished musician, taught and mentored me when I first started on a full drum kit. I have even recived lessons from Christian Musgrove. Ever since I have been apart of the Melody children, youth, and adult band. In recent years, I have been on the road with various country bands such as the Bryan Wainwright Band and Treble Hook, and have played several festivals and large venues including the Suwannee River Jam and Wild Adventures All-Star Concerts.
