Judson ISD Families,

I hope you and your family have been staying dry during this rainy weather.
As we move into the fall and winter seasons, changing weather conditions may create challenges, especially for transportation. Please know that we will always work to communicate any delays, closures, or schedule changes as quickly as possible.

When weather impacts bus routes, students who arrive late to school because of bus delays will not be marked tardy. There is no need to contact your child's school, as bus drivers will notify campuses of delayed arrivals or pickups.

We appreciate your patience and understanding when weather conditions affect our operations. To make sure you receive important district updates, please take a moment to verify that your contact information is current in Skyward. Keeping your information updated helps ensure you receive timely notifications about any delays, cancellations, or other weather-related communications.

Thank you for your partnership and support.

Stay safe, stay dry, and thank you for being part of the Judson ISD family.

Dr. Ann Dixon
Interim Superintendent

🚨 ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS & COLLEGE STUDENTS! 🚨

The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) officially opens TODAY, October 1st! 🎓💰

If you or your student plan to attend college next academic year, filling out the FAFSA is the single most important step to unlock money for school.

Here is why you should complete it ASAP:

💵 First-Come, First-Served: Many state grants and institutional financial aid programs run out of funds early. The sooner you apply, the better your chances!

🎁 Free Money: It’s not just for loans—completing the FAFSA is required to qualify for federal Pell Grants, state aid, and work-study programs.

🏛️ Scholarship Requirement: Most colleges require the FAFSA to consider you for their own merit-based and need-based scholarships.

🆓 It is 100% FREE: Always make sure you are using the official government website. Never pay anyone to fill out this form!

Grab your tax documents, create your StudentAid.gov account (FSA ID) if you haven't already, and check this off your to-do list today!

👉 Apply now at StudentAid.gov

Judson ISD is closely monitoring the weather conditions and their potential impact on travel this morning.

We ask all families, staff and students to use extra caution when traveling to and from school. Please allow additional time for your commute and be mindful of changing road conditions.

Bus Routes: Our bus drivers are using extreme caution to safely transport students. We ask families for patience as routes may take longer than usual due to weather and road conditions.

Please continue to monitor the Judson ISD website, official social media platforms, and the Judson ISD app for any updates or changes.

Most importantly, please stay safe on the roads and take your time. Thank you for your patience and partnership as we prioritize the safety of our students, families and staff.
