Good evening Franz Families,

This is Ms. Savage-Egg with this week’s announcements:

Tonight I am sending out my final Sunday message.

As I reflect on this moment, my heart is filled with gratitude. Gratitude for every student who walked our halls, every parent who entrusted us with their children, every teacher and staff member who poured their hearts into this school, and every memory that made Franz Leadership Academy a special place.

Remember the spirit of Franz Leadership Academy will never disappear. It lives on in the lessons learned, the friendships formed, the challenges overcome, and the countless lives touched along the way.

Being the final principal of Franz Leadership Academy has been one of the greatest honors of my career. I will forever carry this school, its people, and its memories in my heart.

As Mustangs, we have always been more than a school—we have been a family, a herd moving forward together, supporting one another through every season.

So today, I do not say goodbye.

Instead, I say thank you.

Thank you for the memories.
Thank you for the love.
Thank you for the legacy.

No matter where life takes us, we will always be connected by the pride, spirit, and tradition of Franz Leadership Academy.

Good evening Franz Families,

This is Ms. Savage-Egg with this week’s announcements:

As we begin our last week of school, we’re experiencing lots of mixed emotions. We’re excited for our students to have a well-deserved summer break, but also sad that our time together as a “Framily” is coming to an end. We’re grateful for such a wonderful year and are looking forward to making this final week meaningful and memorable.

This Wednesday, we will celebrate our kindergarten graduation in the cafeteria at 8:30 a.m., and we’re excited to honor our students. To help save time, you may want to sign in early using the QR code that was sent home with students or is also available on the teacher’s Thrillshare.

On Thursday, we will celebrate our fifth grade students during their bridging ceremony in the cafeteria at 8:30 a.m., and we’re excited to recognize this important milestone. Again, to help save time upon arrival, you may want to sign in early using the QR code sent home or available on the teacher’s Thrillshare.
Thursday, May 28th will also be an early release day, with dismissal at 11:30 a.m.

Later that evening, we invite you to join us for our parking lot party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Flyers for this event have been sent home with students and are also posted on our page. The event is free for everyone, with the exception of food available for purchase from the Cibolo Creek BBQ team, who will be selling smash burgers and fajitas, and Kona Ice will also be there. We hope you’ll join us for our final farewell celebration at Franz!

Good evening Franz Families,

This is Ms. Savage-Egg with this week’s announcements:

If your student has medication in the clinic, it must be picked up by a parent or guardian before the last day of school. Medications cannot be sent home with students. You may pick up medications early and leave only what is needed for the remaining days. For questions, please contact the school nurse.

Our upcoming awards ceremonies this week—we are so excited to celebrate our students!
On Monday, ceremonies will begin with Ms. Hernandez and Ms. McCarthy’s Pre-K classes at 9:00 a.m., followed by Ms. Williams and Mrs. Rodriguez’s Pre-K class at 10:15 a.m.|
On Wednesday, we will celebrate second grade at 8:30 a.m. and first grade at 1:30 p.m.
On Thursday, fourth grade will be recognized at 8:30 a.m., followed by third grade at 1:30 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you there as we honor our students’ achievements.

Our final Walk Through the Halls will take place this Friday, May 22nd, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This is a special opportunity for past and current families to walk the halls one last time and take a trip down memory lane. For more details, please check our page or your teacher’s Thrillshare platform. We hope to see you there!
