Open House was AWESOME! 🐝💜💛
We had an amazing turnout! Our community partners and surrounding churches showed up in a BIG way, sharing resources, school supplies, snacks, and goodies with our students and parents. We are so grateful for the love and support they poured into our school community!

A very special THANK YOU to Marcella Smith, Loretta Deloatch, Gail Lee, Bernadette McDaniels, Jazlynn Smith, Lukisha Deloatch, Tasha Farmer, Nina Lee, and my girl Ms. Warren! These amazing women were instrumental in our success and were truly a blessing to our entire school! 💜💛 Your generosity, time, and willingness to serve our students and families made a tremendous difference.

We even had a special visit from our Superintendent, Dr. Cunningham, who stopped by to say hello, connect with our families, and enjoy a delicious candy apple! 🍎😋 We appreciate you taking the time to celebrate with us!

It was such a joy to see students excited to reconnect with their former teachers, while our new Hornets were bubbling with excitement as they met their new teachers. 🐝📚✨

I especially enjoyed seeing the smiles on our parents’ faces.

The energy was amazing. The excitement was contagious. And I already know the best is yet to come! 💜💛

Staff Lunch before Open House! Grandpa's Kitchen knows how to please! We had an awesome time together. The food was banging! The dessert was delicious and the vibe was amazing! I love how Grandpa's Kitchen serves with love! Every bite was delicious. I appreciate Grandpa's Kitchen for taking care of our staff! 🐝💜💛

**Convocation 2026 💜💛🐝**

What a beautiful way to officially begin this journey at Aurelian Springs Institute of Global Learning! Our convocation ceremony was filled with excitement, pride, and memories that I’ll treasure.

I truly enjoyed meeting my amazing staff, celebrating together, and of course… taking LOTS of pictures! 📸💜💛 These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Halifax County Schools will maintain its regular instructional schedules for the 2026–2027 school year.

The previously announced staggered instructional schedule will not be implemented for the upcoming school year. Students will attend school according to their schools' regular instructional schedules.

Elementary/Middle School: 8:00am-3:30pm
High School: 7:45am-3:15pm

Families are encouraged to continue watching for back-to-school updates, including transportation information, open house details, and other important announcements as we prepare for the first day of school.
