It's a new week and we're serving up menu items your students will love—featuring fresh, scratch-made options directly from our Central Production Kitchen and locally sourced ingredients!

Here is a taste of what’s featured across our schools:

Elementary School: Scratch-made chili with local beef (served Tues with a cinnamon roll!) and homemade grilled cheese.

Middle School: Scratch-made cheese sauce, teriyaki chicken w/ rice, and Hatch green chili pasta.

AHS & LHS: Scratch-made cheese sauce, local beef tacos, and garlic French bread pizza.

Today on the menu we have our Harvest of the Week: Purple Cauliflower! 🥦✨

Straight from Hoffman Farms in Greeley, CO, this week's featured produce is as nutritious as it is vibrant!

The striking purple color comes from naturally occurring antioxidants, similar to those found in blueberries and red cabbage. Good for gut health and full of Vitamin C, this colorful snack has a mild nutty flavor--perfect on the side of your lunch!

More about the farmer:
The Hoffman family started as a small 3-acre farm in 2014 and has grown to farm over 100 acres today, growing lots of beautiful fresh produce!

Middle and High School students are in for a treat with our Seasonal Fall Chicken Salad! Made with crisp local lettuce, tender diced chicken, sweet apples, tart Craisins, and crunchy sunflower seeds—it’s the ultimate tasty lunch energy boost.

The best part? It’s paired with a house-made dressing sweetened with local honey from St. Michael’s Farms in Ft. Collins!

🍅 Behind the Scenes at CPK! 🧅

Ever wonder how we feed thousands of students every day? It starts from scratch! Our Central Production Kitchen makes 200 gallons of house-made marinara sauce every week.

To give you an idea of the scale, just one 100-gallon batch uses 100 lbs of onions and 50 lbs of garlic! We’re proud to serve fresh, flavor-packed meals to fuel learning across our district including our chili and as a dipping sauce for Bosco sticks!🍝
