Northridge BOYS GOLF Team

Raccoon Creek had a slope of 131 and a course rating of 73.3. It was one tough track. Add in the really chilly temperatures on Monday (45 deg. was the high) and VERY wet conditions Tuesday, well, it made for a tough test of a golfer's skill and patience. CONGRATULATIONS to MAGS! He had the lowest 18 hole round in the last 5 years of Northridge State qualifiers and the lowest 36 hole total also. Very solid performance with some INCREDIBLE shot making!! I know he wants that last 9 back - didn't quite have the results he wanted, but he played super good and I know he is looking forward to State in 2018. He's a veteran at it now !!!

So many to thank! The Booster - Tina, Mrs. Foslien and Mrs. Culwell & all they did in preparation!! Awesome! The markers, who were out there for 5+ hours - Wayne, Mr. Haals and Dianne! Dan, who was integral in prepping the coolers, keeping them stocked and the clean up.
Ryan, who spotted and cheered on his team. Lo'ee, who helped newbees with iW and spotted also.
Special thanks to Jeff and maintenance for the absolutely beautiful condition of the golf course and the special touch of the painting of the hillside - "4A REGIONAL". Lots of pictures taken on that hill with that logo!
To Mr. Cline, our AD, who stayed for the entire event and did most of the scoring so I could be out with the boys.

Regional Overview - Our boys finished in a tie for 5th in the Regionals (16 teams). We hung around 2nd or third for over half of the event. We ran into some rough holes coming in, but everyone played better than their season scoring average, so our boys really stepped up. A great season and looking forward to next season already....A REGIONAL TITLE !!!
