The latest Latino Donor Collaborative report tells an extraordinary story:

• $4.4 trillion Latino GDP—now the 4th largest economy in the world if it stood alone.
• 28.2% of U.S. economic growth driven by Latinos.
• Record entrepreneurship, workforce growth, and consumer spending.

Those numbers should give us every reason for optimism and pride.

But they also reveal an economic paradox.

Despite this extraordinary growth, the wealth gap between White and Latino households has grown to more than $1 million.

More than two years passed before the last enslaved Americans learned they were free.

Today, we honor the courage of those who endured injustice, acknowledge the truth that made Juneteenth necessary, and recommit ourselves to expanding freedom, opportunity, and dignity for generations to come.

History should be remembered not to divide us, but to guide us toward a future rooted in freedom, fairness, and equality for all.
