Littleton Drum Studio

As many of you already know, I have decided to close down the Littleton Drum Studio as of April 22nd. I am so thankful for all of the friends that I have made in my time teaching the fantastic art of drumming, and in getting to share the joy of music with everyone who walked through those doors.

I took over the studio about 7.5 years ago, and it has been a wonderful journey and has helped me to grow so much as a musician, a teacher, and a person; and I have the wonderful, supportive community to thank for that. I am excited for the opportunities ahead, and want everyone to know that I am leaving on a very positive note. I have been able to keep the studio filled with passionate and driven students, and it was a very tough decision to leave, but ultimately the best one for me.

We will be hosting one final "Farewell Tour" show in April to let my students show off their insane talent. I will post some more details on that event soon. If you are a former student or just want to come out and say hey before the studio closes, please feel free to swing by! Thank you all for letting me play a role in the Littleton music community for these past many years, and in sharing some priceless memories! I'll miss all of you!

Hey Everybody! Looking forward to our favorite event of the year! It's time for the 7th Annual Halloween Student Showcase! This is a chance for all students to get up and show off their hard work and dedication to their instrument. It's rare for drummers to be in the spotlight, and that's what this event is all about. Come on out and support some incredible talent of all ages. It's going to be a fantastic show!

Social media has (unfortunately) fallen behind recently, but that doesn't mean that the studio has! We're are doing some amazing things, and we're set for our 6th Annual Spring Student Showcase TODAY!!!! Looking forward to seeing some great performances, familiar faces, and a lot of hard work on display. Thanks to Fraco's Bar and live music for hosting us. :) See you all from 12-3pm.

This summer has been an awesome one to build and grow as a musician! I'm so proud of all of my students who have put in so much work to continue to build their skills as players and I can't wait for them to show off what they've learned. :)

Don't forget that Halloween is just around the corner, which obviously means Halloween Student Showcase!

It's Show Day! Can't wait for everyone to get up on stage and show off their talents! Get ready to rock out and cheer loud!

Show Tip: a 'pre-show' ritual can really help to calm the nerves before a show. Whether that means warming up, meditating, total silence or listening to music! I always suggest taking a long breath before going on stage, just to get centered quickly. Whatever works best for you! :)

Show Tip: Never forget why you are playing music! The joy and fun of music are what we're sharing on that stage.

On a personal note... I absolutely love helping students to realize their potential and put out their best effort onto a stage, or just for themselves! We can learn so much from music, and having that creative outlet is something that is so needed. Thank you all for giving me the opportunity to share the passion, and for sharing yours. 😊

Show Tip: try a 'dress rehearsal' at home. It can be very helpful to pretend to have a big audience while practicing, in order to get used to what will happen on stage.
