Our first HS Outdoor Education Day of the year was a blast! ☀️🌳
Students completed a number of activities geared towards immersing themselves in nature and making new friends across each grade level. They reflected on nature by journaling about their sensory experience, gathered artifacts to make their own “coat of arms” for a fresh twist on history class, and participated in a scavenger hunt where they identified different plant types, animal tracks, commonly seen animals and plants, and evidence of animal activity such as beaver chews and dams.
Way to go, wolves. Rooting together starts in great, hands-on learning experiences where we can grow outside the classroom! 🌱
