After Prom is coming up, and we need your help!

This parent-led event is all about keeping our kids safe and giving them a fun, memorable night after the dance. To make it happen, we’re looking for parent volunteers to chaperone and help create an exciting experience for our students.

We’re also collecting snack donations to keep the energy going throughout the night—and to pair with the amazing prizes we have planned!

Due to the district closing all Jeffco schools on Wednesday, December 17, our finals schedule will look a little different this semester. Stay safe tomorrow and enjoy a day of rest (and studying) 🦅 💨 📚

After consulting with Xcel Energy several times in the last 24 hours about the potential Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) scheduled for tomorrow, Jeffco Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, December 17. Charter school families, please check your school’s website to verify weather-related delays and closures.

Due to the large geographic area anticipated to be impacted by power outages across Jeffco tomorrow and unknown restoration times, we determined that our facilities will likely experience significant disruption that could pose a safety risk to students, families and staff.

The late hour of this decision reflects the consideration that went into it as well as the evolving nature of the situation. We consulted with many of our school leaders as well as state officials in making this decision. We acknowledge the inconvenience to our families and the disruption to our students who are focused on a strong finish to the semester.

Ultimately, our responsibility is to prioritize safety which includes the ability to safely transport students to and from school, and ensure they have safe and warm buildings for learning. We have worked to make the best decisions we can based on the information provided to us by Xcel.

All childcare programs, after-school activities and meetings scheduled to be in Jeffco Public Schools facilities are canceled. No Jeffco Public Schools transportation services will be provided for services within or outside the district.

4A Football: Dakota Ridge Earns First State Championship FORT COLLINS — Dakota Ridge left little to chance en route to winning its first state football championship in program history.

An awesome experience today for our STEM students! Mr. Gray and Company took part in the Gingerbread Bridge Competition put on by the Structural Engineering Association of Colorado (SEAC). Even more impressive is that the “Gingerbread Express 🚂” took first place in the peoples choice division! 🦅
