What a way to wrap up summer!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the chance to spend time with so many incredible educators during our Minnesota Math Standards and Back to School with Math Expressions workshops.

We talked math. We asked a LOT of questions. We worked through some of the things that feel a little messy heading into a new school year. And, of course, we had plenty of laughs along the way. 😊

But my favorite part is always getting to connect with the people actually doing this work every day.

Thank you to every teacher, coach, interventionist, and leader who showed up, shared what’s happening in your classrooms, asked thoughtful questions, and spent part of your very busy back-to-school season with me.

I never take that for granted.

Here’s to a great school year, lots of good math conversations, and hopefully a little more confidence walking into those first few weeks. ❤️

The best part of what I do isn't standing in front of a room...

It's watching that moment when something clicks.

When teachers leave feeling more confident.
When ideas feel manageable.
When "I think I can do this" replaces "Where do I even start?"

These kind words are a reminder of why I love teaching educators as much as I love teaching math.
